When the Fogmaker system activates, the high-pressure water mist, combined with the suppression agent, is released into the engine compartment, enveloping the fire. The mist rapidly cools the fire, dilutes and displaces the oxygen in the vicinity of the fire, and smothers any material that is fueling the fire. As a result, the fire is suppressed, and the risk of further damage or reignition is minimized.
